EMC VNX (Celerra) Volume Summary
Use Quick Search to find a template, report or dashboard by name. Search is case insensitive, supports partial entries, and will display a list of potential matches.
As you enter the name in the Search field, up to 10 potential matches are displayed. If the template, report or dashboard is shown, you can select and run it directly from the match list. You can also click All Items in the match list to go directly to the Search Results.
Use the Explorer to browse through the StorageConsole templates, dashboards and reports. The navigation pane displays templates organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:
User-visible volumes can be many types. When generating this report, the default selection is all volume types: slice, stripe, meta, disk, and pool; however, in the Scope Selector, you can select a sub-set of this list.
Volume ID.
Volume name links to the EMC VNX (Celerra) Volume Detail report.
Storage Pool
Storage Pool associated with the volume. This field is only populated when the volume is part of a storage pool.
Storage Array
Storage Array links to the EMC VNX (Celerra) Storage System Detail report.
In Use
Indicates if the volume is in use: Yes or blank.
Volume type: disk, meta, pool, slice, or stripe.
Client Type
slice, volume, or file system.
Links to the relevant summary report that lists the volumes that are clients of this volume.
Number of filesystem checkpoints established; links to the EMC VNX (Celerra) SnapSure Summary.
Vol Set
The associated volume set.
Links to the Disk Summary report for additional details.
Mouse over the bar to view the volume’s capacity usage.
Total volume capacity.
Amount of volume capacity that has been allocated for use.
Available, unused volume capacity.
% Alloc
% of the total volume capacity that is allocated.
