Collection Message Summary
Use Quick Search to find a template, report or dashboard by name. Search is case insensitive, supports partial entries, and will display a list of potential matches.
As you enter the name in the Search field, up to 10 potential matches are displayed. If the template, report or dashboard is shown, you can select and run it directly from the match list. You can also click All Items in the match list to go directly to the Search Results.
Use the Explorer to browse through the StorageConsole templates, dashboards and reports. The navigation pane displays templates organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:
System Administration Reports > Collection Message Summary
The Collection Message Summary report lists issues that occurred during the data collection process. Use this report to identify the reason for missing backup and storage capacity status.
Data Collection Messages can be filtered (in the scope selector) by the following criteria:
• by Host (see example above)
Collector | Data Collector name. |
Domain | StorageConsole domain of the host. |
Host | Host name. Links to the Host Details. |
Error Occurrences | Number of error occurrences. Links to the Data Collection Message Summary report. |
Last Message Date | The last time an error message was logged during data collection. Links to the Data Collection Message Detail report. |
Message Level | Indicates the severity of the error. |
Last Message Type | Indicates the type of error. |
Last Message Summary | A brief description of the error. Click on the Last Message Date to see details. |
