Data Collection Message Summary
Explore your data center using APTARE customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.
Use the Reports tab to examine the StorageConsole catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:
The Data Collection Message Summary report lists issues that occurred during the data collection process. Use this report to identify the reason for missing backup and storage capacity status.
Data Collection Messages can be filtered (in the scope selector) by the following criteria:
• by Host (see example above)
Collector
Data Collector name.
Domain
Portal domain of the host.
Host
Host name. Links to the Host Details.
Error Occurrences
Number of error occurrences. Links to the Data Collection Message Summary report.
Last Message Date
The last time an error message was logged during data collection. Links to the Data Collection Message Detail report.
Message Level
Indicates the severity of the error.
Last Message Type
Indicates the type of error.
Last Message Summary
A brief description of the error. Click on the Last Message Date to see details.
Data Collection Message Summary
This report is accessed via the Error Occurrences link in the Data Collector Message Summary.
Collector
Data Collector name.
Host
Host name. Links to the Host Details.
Child Thread
Lists child threads and their configurations encapsulated within a data collector configuration.
Task
Defines the data collection task.
Host Policy
The host policy associated with this collector.
Message Date
The last time an error message was logged during data collection. Links to the Data Collection Message Detail report.
Message Level
Indicates the severity of the error.
Message Type
Indicates the type of error.
Message Summary
A brief description of the error. Click on the Last Message Date to see details.

This report is accessed via the Last Message Date link in the Data Collection Message Summary.
