HP Data Protector Backup Specification Summary
Use Search to find a template, report or dashboard by name. Search is case insensitive, supports partial entries, and will display a list of potential matches.
As you enter the name in the Search field, up to 10 potential matches are displayed. If the template, report or dashboard is shown, you can select and run it directly from the match list. You can also click All Items in the match list to go directly to the Search Results.
StorageConsole provides different navigation options to slice and examine your collected data. You can explore the data by using the APTARE customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. The Inventory Navigator serves as a browser for your infrastructure by object type.
Use the Reports tab to examine the StorageConsole catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:

Note: The Backup Policies folder is available only if one of the following subsystems is licensed for data collection: EMC Avamar, Commvault Simpana, EMC NetWorker, IBM TSM, HP Data Protector, or Veritas NetBackup.
The HP Data Protector Backup Specification report lists the Backup Specification, with the objects that are backed up, the servers and the next time the backup will be performed. Note that the objects can be entire disks or volumes, or sub-sets of these, such as directories or the Windows Registry.

HP Data Protector Backup Specification Detail
Detail reports are related to a specific enterprise object, such as a backup job or SAN fabric. You can only access detail reports through a link presented in the context of a main report, providing additional information that augments the main report. Detail reports cannot be generated, customized, or saved, as they are specific to the report from which they were derived. Therefore, they will not be available in search results.

Click a Specification link.
The HP Data Protector Backup Specification Detail report lists the details of the specification, such as mount points and clients. Each of the media must be in a media pool.

Status | The current status of the specification. |
Object’s Latest Backup and Not Configured Filesystems
A table lists the mount points, with the scheduled backup type, media pool, and last full & incremental backup dates.
Mount Point | A mount point provides the access to the directory structure for a disk or logical volume on the client, to locate the backup object. |
Client | The client links to the Mount Point Details. |
Next Backup Mode | Type of backup that is scheduled next, for example, Full. |
Media Pool | The media pool in which this data was stored. |
Last Full Backup | Date and time of the last full backup for this mount point. |
Last Incr Backup | Date and time of the last incremental backup for this mount point. |
Not Configured Filesystems
Mount Point | Mount points listed in the Not Configured Filesystems table indicate mount points that are not backed up. |
External Name | The name of the server. |
Backup Specification Schedules
A table lists the recent backup specification schedules, if any: Mode and Schedule Time.
