Adding TSM Servers
Repeat these steps for each TSM Server.
1. In the Portal, add a server for each TSM server: Admin > Hosts and Domains > Hosts and Host Groups
For Linux platforms, this TSM server must be added to dsm.sys in order for the Data Collector to connect to the dsmadmc command.
• External Name - Displayed in the Portal.
• Internal Name - Must match the host name of the TSM server.
• IP Address
• Make & Model
• OS
• Type = TSM Server
Note: Select the Data Collector and add a TSM policy for each TSM host server. If a host group hierarchy has already been established in the application, you can drill down to the host group to which you would like the TSM Host Server to belong, although we recommend adding the TSM Host Server to the top-level APTARE folder.
