Use the following guidelines to determine Portal Server requirements.

The following systems are supported for 64-bit platforms and require JDK 1.7:

Recommended Portal Configurations
APTARE recommends the following Portal configurations. Enterprise-specific requirements may warrant additional resources, as you fully deploy features and add StorageConsole licensed products to the Portal.
Medium Portal
Medium Portal Criteria
• Physical Server or VM
• Windows 64-bit or Linux 64-bit
• 4 CPUs/vCPUs with 32 GB of Memory recommended
• maximum 2 physical CPU sockets (Oracle license limitation)
• 200 GB of usable disk space (SAN or DAS, not NAS)
• Capacity < 10 PB and
• Backup < 5,000 clients
Large Portal
Large Portal Criteria
• Physical Server
• Linux 64-bit
• 2 CPUs, 12 cores with 64 GB of Memory recommended
• maximum 2 physical CPU sockets (Oracle license limitation)
• 500 GB of usable disk space (SAN or DAS, not NAS)
• Capacity > 10 PB or
• Backup > 5,000 clients
