Adding Symantec NetBackup Servers
For each Symantec NetBackup server specified in the APTARE StorageConsole Data Collector Pre-Installation worksheet, add the Symantec NetBackup server to StorageConsole.
1. In the Portal, add a master server: Admin > Hosts and Domains > Hosts and Host Groups
2. In the panel at the right of the Host Group Administration window, click Add.
3. Enter values for all of the required fields (denoted by an *) in the Host Administration window and click OK.
External name - Displayed in the Portal.
Internal name - The Internal Name needs to match the host name of the Master Server. If a Master Server belongs to a cluster, enter the NetBackup Cluster Name for the Internal Name. See Collecting from NetBackup Clusters.
