Starting and Stopping Reporting Database
Consider restarting the Reporting Database every 4-8 weeks.
To start or stop the Reporting Database
Do one of the following
• If all components (Portal Server and Reporting Database) are on the same server and you want to shut down all components including the Reporting Database, run the following command:
# /etc/init.d/aptare stop |
• If all components (Portal Server and Reporting Database) are on the same server and you want to shut down the Reporting Database only, run the following command:
# /opt/aptare/bin/oracle stop |
• If the Reporting Database is on a separate server, run the following command:
# /opt/aptare/bin/oracle stop |
