Supported Operating Systems
The following systems are supported for 64-bit platforms and require JDK 1.7:
• SUSE Linux Enterprise 11
• Windows 2008 R2 Server, Standard and Enterprise
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (Upgrades only; no installer provided)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (Installation or for upgrades only from 9.0.1 to higher versions)
• CentOS 5 (Upgrades only; no installer provided)
• CentOS 6 (Installation or for upgrades only from 9.0.1 to higher versions)
Recommended Portal Configurations
APTARE recommends the following Portal configurations. Since the recommendations depend on several factors, they may vary from one environment to another. As products are added and features fully deployed, you may need to transition from a medium to a large Portal. For example, the addition of Virtualization Manager and Fabric Manager, as well as increased data collection frequency, could warrant additional resources.
