Storage Array | The name given to the storage array. |
Label | HNAS system drive number assigned by the server to uniquely identify the system drive. |
Status | The system drive's status on the cluster node, as reported by the SCSI driver. |
Role | The system drive's mirror role: primary or secondary. If relevant, this will also include the system drive to which this one is mirrored, according to the configuration of the span that includes the system drives. If the system drive has been pegged, the role will be also be shown. Example: Secondary (Scsi: Primary; peg Secondary); configured partner: 3, where Secondary is the effective role, Primary is the role reported by the RAID controller to the servers SCSI driver, and in this case, the system drive's role has been pegged to Secondary. |
Access | HNAS system drive access status. Allowed = access to the system drive is allowed, otherwise the value is set to Denied. |
Storage Pool | The name that was assigned to the span when it was created. |
SD Group | List of all the system drives that are in the same group as this HNAS system drive. This value will be None if the system drive is not in a group. |
Capacity | Total capacity of the HNAS physical disk. Values are stored in the database as KiB and rendered according to your user profile preferences. |
Manf | Manufacturer of the HNAS physical disk. |
Comment/Rank Name | User-assigned comment for the HNAS system drive. |
Disk Type | Type of HNAS physical disk. |
Disk Size | Total capacity of the HNAS system drive. Values are stored in the database as KiB and rendered according to your user profile preferences. |
Superflush | The number of data disks in the system drive, and the RAID5 stripe size. The server uses these details to optimize write operations. Super flush aggregates I/O and is used to improve write performance. |
Chunk Size | The number of bytes in an HNAS system drive data block. |
Tier | Name of the HNAS tier. |
LUN | The logical unit number (LUN) used by the RAID controller to identify a system drive. Within a single RAID rack, every system drive will have a unique LUN. Since a single server can communicate with multiple RAID racks, several system drives can have the same LUN.For Hitachi Data Systems storage, this is the external (host) LUN and the internal LUN is <>. |
Site | Site ID that an administrator has assigned to the HNAS system drive. |
Serial # | System Drive's serial number, as taken from the SCSI standard inquiry. |
