EMC VPLEX Device Summary
Detail reports are related to a specific enterprise object, such as a backup job or SAN fabric. You can only access detail reports through a link presented in the context of a main report, providing additional information that augments the main report. Detail reports cannot be generated, customized, or saved, as they are specific to the report from which they were derived. They are not available in search results.

This report lists local and global VPLEX devices. View device details such as block size, capacity, and geometry.
Cluster | Name of the storage array. |
Device Name | Name of the device. |
# of Extents | Number of extents in the device. |
# of Devices | Number of complex devices in the device. |
Health State | Represents an overview of the health of the extent. |
# of Blocks | The number of blocks in the extent. |
Block Size | The size of a single block, in kilobytes. |
Capacity | The total number of bytes in the extent. This total represents the block size multiplied by the block count. |
Geometry | Indicates the geometry or redundancy of this device (similar to RAID level). This does not take into account the geometry of the supporting extents, but indicates how data is stored on the supporting extents. |
Visibility | Indicates if this device is being made available to remote clusters. Setting this value changes whether the device is currently available. Possible List of values: local global |
Transfer Size | The transfer size, in bytes, during a rebuild. |
Virtual Volume | Name of the virtual volume. |
