Configuring the Maximum Cache Size in Memory
The cache can retain up to 0.5 GB of reporting data and if it reaches capacity, it frees up space for new reports by purging the data for the least frequently used reports. You can change the retention value by adding a line to the portal.properties file.
1. Revise the maximum cache value for reporting data using the portal.properties file:
Linux:
/opt/aptare/portalconf/portal.properties
Windows:
C:\opt\aptare\portalconf\portal.properties
2. Add the following line:
portal.reports.cache.maxSizeInMemory
The unit of measure for the cache maxSizeInMemory value is bytes.
Example: portal.reports.cache.maxSizeInMemory=536870912
3. Restart the Tomcat Portal services.
