Port Throughput by Array
Explore your data center using APTARE customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.
Use the Reports tab to examine the StorageConsole catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:
Capacity Manager > Storage Performance > Port Throughput by Array
Note: Column filtering is not supported for this tabular report.
In addition to the tabular list of performance metrics, a checkbox for each port enables graphing of the collected throughput statistics and comparisons among ports.

Storage Array
Array name
Port #
CIM port identifier
Role
Port role, such as Initiator, RCU, Target
Port Name
Port name
For HP 3PAR: Ports refer to fibre channel ports.
IO/sec
For every record in the reporting interval, this is the sum of every data collection interval’s IOs divided by the reporting interval in seconds.
IO %
Percentage of the total IOs for the array, across the report’s interval, relative to the number of ports on the array. If there is only one port on the array, the percentage will be 100%; otherwise, the total for all ports on the array will equal 100%. This is a measure of how much of the total traffic is carried on each port.
MB Transferred
For every record in the reporting interval, this is the sum of every data collection interval’s MB transferred.
Transferred %
Percentage of the MB transferred for this array, across the report’s interval, relative to the number of ports on the array. If there is only one port on the array, the percentage will be 100%; otherwise, the total for all ports on the array will equal 100%. This is a measure of how much of the total traffic is carried on each port.
Show Chart
Check the Show Chart checkbox, then click Show Chart at the top of the report to graph the performance values. Multiple checks enable comparisons.
