View a table of Symmetrix disk performance metrics.
Metrics listed in the report, by array and device, include capacity, Average Busy %, Average Queue Depth, Response Times (Average Read and Write), Input/Output Operations Per Second - IOPS (Average Read and Write), and data transfer rates (Average Read and Write MBps). Values represented in this report are averages for the time period.
Array Name
Name of the storage array. This name is derived from the Symmetrix ID.
Vendor

Serial #
Serial number of the disk. Example: 3LN3216B.
Avg Busy%
The percent of time that the disk is busy serving IOs.
Max Busy%
The MAX of the percent of time that the disk is busy serving IOs.
Avg Queue Depth
Calculated value: Accumulated queue depth/total SCSI command per sec.
Max Queue Depth
Calculated value: Max of the Accumulated queue depth/total SCSI command per sec.
Avg Read Latency
The average time it took the disk to serve one read command.
Max Read Latency
Max of the average time it took the disk to serve one read command.

The average time it took the disk to serve one write command.
Max Write Latency
The Max of the average time it took the disk to serve one write command.
Write Latency Std Dev
The Std Dev of the average time it took the disk to serve one write command.
Avg IOPS
The number of host read and write requests for the disk.
Max IOPS
The Max of the number of host read and write requests for the disk.
Avg Read IOPS
The number of host reads per second for the disk.
Max Read IOPS
The Max of the number of host reads per second for the disk.
Avg Write IOPS
The number of host writes per second for the disk.
Max Write IOPS
The Max of the number of host writes per second for the disk.
Avg MB Read
The read throughput (MBs) of the disk per second.
Max MB Read
The Max of the read throughput (MBs) of the disk per second.
Avg MB Written
The write throughput (MBs) of the disk per second.
