Database Error Aggregation
Use Search to find a template, report or dashboard by name. Search is case insensitive, supports partial entries, and will display a list of potential matches.
As you enter the name in the Search field, up to 10 potential matches are displayed. If the template, report or dashboard is shown, you can select and run it directly from the match list. You can also click All Items in the match list to go directly to the Search Results.
StorageConsole provides different navigation options to slice and examine your collected data. You can explore the data by using the APTARE customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. The Inventory Navigator serves as a browser for your infrastructure by object type.
Use the Reports tab to examine the StorageConsole catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:
This report provides a diagnostic tool for System Administrators to monitor typical operational functions. More often than not, you will be requested by APTARE Global Support Services to use this diagnostic tool and email the report to them for further investigation.
Entries in this report do not necessarily signal problems that require corrective action. For example, if a user inadvertently attempts to create a Domain Name that already exists, an entry will be written to the database error log file and also displayed in this report.
Ideally, this report will rarely list errors that require additional actions, but periodic monitoring is recommended.
Use this report to get a high-level view of all the occurrences of each database error for the report’s interval. Rather than a row representing each error occurrence, as listed in the Database Error Summary, this report lists one row for all the occurrences of a particular error. Errors are sorted by error counts, highest to lowest. This aggregation may be helpful in assessing the severity of the issue.
Note: Given that this report extracts customer-specific database messages from a log file, System Administrators should ensure that only authorized personnel are given access to this report.

Error Number
Unique error number associated with specific database errors, to aid in troubleshooting issues. Drill down to the Database Error Summary to list the date and time of each error occurrence.
Number of Errors
The number of occurrences of this error provides insight into the severity of an issue.
First Error Date
Date and time the first error occurred.
Last Error Date
Date and time the last error occurred in this interval.
Module
The software module that was executing when the error occurred.
Portal Error Message
Lists the message displayed on the Portal, if that is the origin of the error.
Oracle Error Message
Lists the message displayed in Oracle if that is the origin of the error.
Oracle Stack Trace
Lists the SQL stack trace error, which pinpoints the line of code that encountered the error.
