Account Lockout
A user is allowed five attempts at a password. If the user is unable to remember the password after five attempts, the account is locked. This value can be overridden by adding a line to the portal.properties file. See Configuring the Number of Login Attempts Before Lockout for details.
An administrator must reactivate the account before the user can login.
To unlock the account
1. Click Admin>Users>Users and Privileges.
2. Select the user name and click Edit.
3. Change the Active field from No to Yes.
4. Click OK.
