Billing and Chargeback Summary
Use Search to find a template, report or dashboard by name. Search is case insensitive, supports partial entries, and will display a list of potential matches.
As you enter the name in the Search field, up to 10 potential matches are displayed. If the template, report or dashboard is shown, you can select and run it directly from the match list. You can also click All Items in the match list to go directly to the Search Results.
StorageConsole provides different navigation options to slice and examine your collected data. You can explore the data by using the APTARE customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. The Inventory Navigator serves as a browser for your infrastructure by object type.
Use the Reports tab to examine the StorageConsole catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:
Backup Manager > Billing and Usage Reports > Billing & Chargeback Summary
Tip: To limit the data to a single business unit or department, modify the scope of this report.
The usage and billing details are listed in a table, which you can sort by column headers.
Note: If the scope of this report is for NetBackup-only host groups, three additional columns will be included: Total Dup (GB), Cost Per Dup’d GB, and Dup’d Usage Cost GB, which are set in the Billing and Usage Policies.
To view or modify billing and chargeback items, go to Admin > Chargeback > Billing and Usage.
Client Server | The External Name. Click this link to access Host Details. |
Backed Up | The amount of storage consumed by the client server during the specified time period. Click this link to view a Job Summary report. |
Cost Per GB | Amount the client is charged per GB of consumption. |
GB Usage Cost | Backed Up * Cost per GB = GB Usage Cost |
# of Tapes | The # of tapes consumed by the client during the specified time period. Click this link to view a Job Summary report. |
Cost Per Tape | Amount the client is charged per tape consumed. |
Total Tape Cost | # of Tapes * Cost per Tape = Total Tape Cost |
Total Dup (GB) | Total duplicated storage (NetBackup-only scope) |
Cost per Dup’d GB | The charge that has been configured for duplicated storage (NetBackup-only scope) |
Dup’d Usage Cost | Total Dup * Cost per Dup’d = Dup’d Usage Cost
