Backup Executive Summary
Use Search to find a template, report or dashboard by name. Search is case insensitive, supports partial entries, and will display a list of potential matches.
As you enter the name in the Search field, up to 10 potential matches are displayed. If the template, report or dashboard is shown, you can select and run it directly from the match list. You can also click All Items in the match list to go directly to the Search Results.
StorageConsole provides different navigation options to slice and examine your collected data. You can explore the data by using the APTARE customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. The Inventory Navigator serves as a browser for your infrastructure by object type.
Use the Reports tab to examine the StorageConsole catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:
Backup Manager > Management Reports > Backup Executive Summary
This report provides an Executive Summary overview of the status of backup jobs within defined backup windows. In the Report Designer, a backup window can be selected to narrow the scope of the report. If no specific backup windows are defined in StorageConsole, this report defaults to: 4:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Backup Window: Start Date | Start date and time of the backup window |
Backup Window: Finish Date | End date and time of the backup window |
Jobs: Total | Total number of backup jobs that executed within the backup window. Click on the link to view the Job Summary Report. |
Jobs: Successful | Total number of successful backup jobs that executed within the backup window. Click on the link to view the Job Summary Report for successful backup jobs for this time period. |
Jobs: Failed | Total number of failed backup jobs that executed within the backup window. Click on the link to view the Job Summary Report for failed backup jobs for this window. |
Jobs: Success Rate | The success percentage, calculated as Successful jobs divided by Total jobs |
Clients: Total | Number of unique clients backed up within the backup window |
Clients: Successful | Number of unique clients that were successfully backed up within the backup window. |
Clients: Failed | Number of unique clients that failed to be backed up within the backup window. Click on the link to view the Failed Clients report for this time period. |
Clients: Success Rate | The success percentage, calculated as Successful clients divided by Total clients |
