LUN Utilization Summary for HP3PAR
This HP3PAR-specific report can be accessed via a LUN link in HP3PAR-specific reports. A similar report is available for all storage arrays in your environment. See LUN Utilization Summary.
Using the LUN Utilization Summary, you can view all the mapping details, such as mount points and file systems.
VV Name
The name given to the logical unit.
Array Name
RAID group name.
Type
RAID type of the volume: RAID 0, RAID10, or RAID50.
Allocated Size
Size of the volume. Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences.
User
Raw user. The total number of logically contiguous blocks * Block size = Total raw size of the User space. Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences.
Snaps
Used snapshot admin. Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences.
Admin
Raw admin. The total number of logically contiguous blocks * Block size = Total raw size of the Admin space. Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences.
Allocation Warning
Allocation warning. Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences.
Allocation Limit
Allocation limit. Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences.
CPG
RAID group name.
RAID Type
RAID level to display in reports.
Device Type
Device type of the disk. 0 = Unknown 1 = FC 2 = Nearline
Set Size
Number of chunklets in a set.
Availability
Describes the current availability of the volume. This value might be different from preferred availability. 0 = Unknown 1 = Cage 2 = Magazine 3 = Port 4 = Disk 5 = Chunklet
Thin
Indicates if the LUN is thinly provisioned: Y or N.
Storage Array
Name of the storage array.
Host
The name is derived from the host's DNS name.
Host LUN
The LUN to which the host is mapped. For HP 3PAR: LUN refers to a Virtual Volume (VV).
Mount Point
Mount point associated with the host LUN path. For HP 3PAR: LUN refers to a Virtual Volume (VV).
File System
The host’s filesystem or drive name to which the LUN maps. LUNs simply appear as disks to hosts. For HP 3PAR: LUN refers to a Virtual Volume (VV).
